Introduction
15th January 2002
This year, 2001-2002, marks the 70th Anniversary of La Salle College. The theme of celebration is “70 Years Learning, Serving and Caring” and is also the theme of the RS Homepage this year.
We had our Anniversary Mass in the Cathedral in October, celebrated by the Cardinal and some Old Boys. In December and January we had our RE Library Book Report Competition for junior forms. Quite a big number of students participated. In February, we will have our Open Days, which we are looking forward to.
The main targets of the Religious Education Department we have set for this year are production and uses of IT materials for teaching and learning of RE. Up to date, we have produced more than 7 PowerPoint files. We try to build up our own multimedia resources, in response to the installation of IT projectors in classrooms.
This year to us is a demanding year and we hope that it is also a successful year which will bring us a lot of memories in future
